I'm guessing that Windows always has a `fonts` folder in `%SystemRoot%.` It would be good to symlink that to `~/.local/share/fonts` or into `/usr/share/fonts/` and run `fc-cache`.

tries to install VcXsrv.lnk to a non-existent location

Sorry, I've lost the actual error message after a problem filing a ticket, but it tries to install a VcXsrv.lnk into C:\Users\alistair\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\, but this location does not exist on...

Just letting you know, in case you haven't seen it already - there is a similar plugin at https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/polygonclickmap/ and https://github.com/lmotta/polygonclickmap It gives me better results in testing.

Merge lines in direction produces this rather incomprehensible error if there is a line that starts and ends at the same point: ``` Calculating feature informations... Merging lines... Saving output......

It would be good to trap known errors. e.g. if the user leaves the default 0 as map scale denominator they get an error in [generalize.py:803]: ``` AttributeError 'NoneType' object...
