hi. Is there a plan to support Enhanced RTMP to publish h265 stream?

This is a very outdated and useless protocol. I added H265 support to the input just for fun. Didn't really plan on spending much time to it. Who even uses it in 2024?

I agree with you . I have a question.i have H265 camera. i cam get stream by go2rtc rtsp . how can i publish it to streaming service ?

Are you sure any streaming service support H265 inside RTMP?

i use SRS as my stream service. it support h265. As far as we know youtube is currently accepting HEVC. ffmpeg new version6.1, obs version v29.1 can publish h265.

Looks like you right. Youtube supports HEVC over RTMP. So support is worth it. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2853702?hl=en

Just chiming in, tiktok also supports hevc over rtmp. Having this supported will greatly reduce my system resources since I don't have to reencode my stream. Not sure why but h264 in tiktok is very sluggish.
