Aqara Smart Plug cannot be integrated
Hello,
I am currently trying to integrate the Aqara Smart Plug SP-EUC01. According to the list of working devices it should work. The smart plug can also be integrated, but is then removed again directly after a few seconds. Can someone help me and tell me what this could be?
Hi, Have you tried changing region to China then adding again? The reason was Unsupported region and Gateway removed it due not supported in region. Try this and let me know
Hi,
yes, the region is already set to china anyway because i already use other devices that only work on the china server.
Have you linked using Xiaomi Home or Home Assistant?
This plug may have old firmware. You needs to update it somewhere. On Aqara gateway or with zigbee2mqtt
@TrustedFloppa have tried both methods. Both adding via the Xiaomi Home app and directly in Home Assistant via the gateway control.
@AlexxIT Have temporarily added the plug to Home Assistant via zigbee2mqtt. zigbee2mqtt shows that the plug's firmeware is up to date.
Disable Zigbee2mqtt in XiaomiGateway3 configuration then try adding it using home Assistant
I use zigbee2mqtt via a USB stick (sonoff), not via the XiaomiGateway3. I added the Sonoff to Home Assistant afterwards.
the problem is that i can't use all the functions (energy measurement, power measurement) of the plug via zigbee2mqtt, so i would actually like to integrate the plug via gateway3.
You can try resetting gateway and trying to add Aqara plug
Ok, i will try this. do i need to setup all new after resetting the gateway?
Yes
If you already upgraded your Xiaomi GW3 than it may not show energy.
I had to downgrade my firmware to 1.5.0_0102 in order for it to work.
@rbron01 my gateway has the firmware as recommended in AlexxIT's guide v1.5.0_0102.
I have activated the debug logs of the gateway, this is what i get there:
Hello @minimmi, I am facing exactly the same issue with the Aqara smart plug EUC01. Were you able to find a solution ? Thanks
Unfortunately, no. I got a sonoff zigbee stick and now use my zigbee devices through it.
