Sonoff Lan is making the BasicR2 go offline?

Open TelefunkenPALcolour opened this issue 3 months ago • 9 comments

The BasicR2 I have installed is fine in the Ewelink app until the Sonoff Lan integration is enabled. Then the BasicR2 goes offline. Sometimes it is just 10 minutes, other times a couple of hours.

I switch off the electricity to restart the BasicR2 to connect it again to the wifi and I have to disable the Sonoff Lan integration to avoid the problem but then I miss all the automations in Home Assistant.

I checked other issues in internet and I couldn't find any solution.

Same issue here. Many times in my home assistant several switches (basic, mini and sv) appears as disconected. I open ewelink app, change their state and then, it comes as conected again in my HA. It´s really annoying. Any idea to solve that? Thanks in advance

Everything is obvious here. Your cloud connection is not working - incorrect password. It's bad that the cloud keeps trying to connect unsuccessfully.

Your local devices are indeed falling off. The component cannot connect to them. You have serious problems with your home network. Possibly with the HA server.

Understood. Where can I see my "correct" password? I log out ewelink app and can log in with no problem. The password I use and that i have in my configuration.yaml is good. Maybe the password is another one?

It is better to remove the password from yaml and add integration via GUI. Perhaps you changed the password in yaml, but it was not updated.

Tried to do that, but after deleting any config from sonoff in configuration.yaml, restarting ha and trying to reconfigure, it loos that information remais somewhere. Must I desinstall also sonoff lan and then reinstall it?

Config automatically moved from yaml to GUI. It was many versions ago.
