Open spanzetta opened this issue 2 years ago • 10 comments

Yesterday I found this strange situation in my Energy Dashboard

Which can be the cause?

In which logs can I found something that could explain the issue?

I have a similar problem with my POWR3 since a couple of days. The value stop updating, if I open EWELink app on my cell phone, the value update again in Home Assistant for a while and the energy show some strange behavior like yours. I'm not the best to help you, but maybee this might give a clue.

Update it to 3.6.0 in Ewelink app

It seems that updating FW to 3.6.0 fixed the problem..

I have 3.6.0. So that is for me no solution. After 26-7-23 No energy data from POWR2 image image

I have the same problem, on the Ewelink app the Power (Watts) update when the POWR2 is on but it works in reverse on HA. When the switch is enable it shows 0 and when it is disabled it shows the last Watts used Sonof

POWR2 : Ver 3.6.0 LAN control : enabled

Sonoff LAN: Ver: 3.5.2

When turning on the device in HA, sensors display 0 and when turning off, the sensors update. I then opened eWeLink and turn on the device from the "home" screen (where all devices are listed, and instantly the sensors update in HA and when turning off, it goes back to 0 (as intended) Once I have done the above, I can turn the device on and off in HA and the data updates as it should, showing correct values & resetting back to 0.

However, if I wait a couple of minutes after the above above testing, system goes back to sensor display 0 and when turning off, the sensor updates.

Its almost as if something is triggering the system to work correctly after switching the device in eWeLink and resets after a couple minutes again.

I just found something else, as soon as the sensors stop working in HA, and I just reopen the app on my phone, everything works again, no need to trigger the device on the eWeLink app, just opened it again. (don't know if this helps)
