autostart waybar on slackware

/My system: OS Slackware 15-current Waybar 0.12.0 WM niri 25.02

Can you tell me how to properly set up waybar autoplay on Slackware? My attempts: 1. By default, I wrote in ~/.config/niri/config.kdl: spawn-at-startup "waybar" or spawn-at-startup "bash" "waybar", -does not work. On the Arch and Gentoo (systemd) systems, everything works fine

Does starting it manually work?

I had the same issue on FreeBSD 14.2. Starting waybar with spawn-at-startup "sh" "-c" "sleep 1 && waybar" did the trick for me.
