Waybar stop working if internet connection lost
So recently I switched to Wayland ( Hyprland, Arch Linux btw  ). I using Waybar as my status bar and, as a title said, it stop working everytime my internet connection is lost. Iam having a Ethernet cable plug in my personal Laptop at the moment. Whats did I missed?
Same. This problem is somehow related to Hyprland IPC, cuz when you launch waybar from a terminal and disconnect from an internet connection, it clearly cries about blah blah blah hyprland ipc error blah blah blah the error message itself is not very useful so we dont really have anything to point at
I'm also experiencing the same problem (Waybar+Hyprland on openSUSE Tumbleweed) and Waybar also gives and error related to Hyprland IPC, but the error doesn't happen every time the connection is lost. I got this error like 5 minutes ago and I tried to reproduce the error now by shutting off my router, but Waybar works fine this time.
(I'll try to copy the error messages next time but) I remember having a message saying that "Hyprlandl IPC couldn't be started" and then that "the workspaces couldn't be parsed" or something like that.
Any idea if this is something on the Waybar side or on the Hyprland side?

Fixed by installing the "waybar" package from AUR, before that I was using waybar installed with the Nix package manager. Maybe you should try installing waybar using a different method too. Have you tried it?
