Similar to 2758 and 1218

I just want a thin bar with larger text to match my bemenu line height and font size.

bemenu with font size 10.5 and line height 20:

waybar with font size 12 and line height 20:

Why does waybar show my font set to 12 look smaller than my bemenu run launcher with font set to 10.5?

Any help is appreaciated.

Have you tried debugging by remove all the styles and approaching with a bisect strategy?
