blueman-applet disappears on reload

Open bhepple opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

It's still running according to 'ps -ef' but there is no icon in the tray. A kill and restart (of blueman-applet) brings it back.

I'm on an up to date fedora-35 with waybar-0.9.12-1.fc35.x86_64

If you want to see the blueman-applet icon all the time, you need to set "show-passive-items": true in your tray block.

Thanks for the tip, I'd never have found it otherwise, it's rather obscure.

Oddly, I can't reproduce the behaviour now. Currently, when I reload, the blueman-applet comes back (even without the show-passive-items fix). I'll see if I can dig more into this.

I can't reproduce this. Perhaps a reboot fixed it. Closing this now.
