Possibility to overwrite vcontrold.xml
Hi, could you please create the possibility to overwrite the vcontrold.xml similar to the vito.xml?
Hi, I would ask for the same favour, @Alexandre-io. Could you please add the posibility to overwrite the vcontrold.xml in the same way you did with the vito.xml.
pull request for vito.xml: https://github.com/Alexandre-io/homeassistant-vcontrol/commit/f4ef77d4b466f658e8ea94ae4ca50eaeae03b64d
I tried to make a pull request, hope I did everything right...

Hello any movement on this?
I would like to have my own vcontrold.xml (same as I have vito.xml now),because my boiler needs different variable settings than the default ones...
Same here, the origianl vcontrold.xml does not work for vitocal 200-a Thanks

Hi, is it somehow possible to install your "beta" version that is not approved?
Because the override option would help me a lot, because in the default vcontrold.xml the value of the data type is "BA" --> "H+WW FS", where there is a space. I need to set this, but I just can't push the space in there. It only ever takes H+WW.
If I could edit vcontrold.xml, I would edit the definition of the data types (it doesn't exactly fit my boiler anyway)
Or is there any possibility of your corrected version being published by the author (@Alexandre-io ) as an update?
@nosektomas2004 there is a fork of this repo(approx. 5Months old) which allows the changing of the vcontrold.xml. this worked for me to set everything i need ( fork from Netxxl, thanks by the way) For installing it, just add the adress of the fork on your extension site via the 3dots up right at section "repositories"
Sorry for the delayed response. The latest version of the plugin allows the use of a custom vcontrold.xml configuration file. Could you please check if it's working for you?
Hi. I couldn't get the fork of Bascht74 working either, and i assume thats what you merged to yours? Have a look into the fork of netxxl, there are a lot more changes included which worked for me in the end
