Logs out after so many hours leaving a single game running long past the time needed to idle cards.

If I run it for a long day or more I find that it seems to possibly log me out (Steam doing that?) from the app which leaves whichever game it was on to keep running forever when there's still games to idle. Closing the app and logging back in fixes this, but if I can't get to my computer regularly I end up with 15+ hours in some idled games, which isn't a massive deal but inefficient to not be farming cards when there's still some left! Any ideas on a workaround?

I will need to investigate what can cause such behavior. But if Steam terminated login session, then probably the only thing which can be done is to stop all idling processes
