Bone serpent spawning crashes my game 1.20.1

whenever I'm in the nether once a bone serpent spawns it freezes then crashes my game, i know its that mob specifically since its the only one mentioned in the crash message. im not sure if its an issue with another mod being there but the only way i can stop it is by disabling the mod.
