Cave maps pointing to the wrong destination

This has happened several times on worlds I do multiplayer with a friend of mine.

I will obtain a cave map (legitimately), use it, and it points to a cave. I get close to the cave, and the cave map suddenly changes to point to a completely different location, and it will be revealed that there was no cave at the first location.

If you're not going to let people use Nature's Compass for this (at LEAST let people turn that off in config), then please make sure the intended cave location tools work properly.
