Silly Routing Question

How can I route st like "enchanted books" or "armor" or tools or weapons with nbt data with the diamond pipes?

It's not currently possible, and unlikely to be possible until buildcraft is ported to 1.14.x

Some ideas: How about a "nbt-filter-item" which can be combined with any nbt-item (adding a nbt-item into the slot of the nbt-filter-item) and would allow routing said item by ignoring its nbt settings completely? This would allow for "any leather boots" (from fishing). "Any armor" would be possible if an "any-armor-filter-item" was crafted and then placed into a color slot. More "Any xxx" filters would allow to use fewer color slots in the diamond pipes and make routing less clumsy.

This is just an idea. I love the pipes the way they are right now.
