Problem Profile screen flickering on X11 after choosing a profile

Did you read the FAQ? https://thorium.rocks/faq yea

Additional Notes It only happens when i have the default X11, when i change it to wayland it works fine, other that the app logo etc looks weird. So no wayland. i fixed this before, but i reset my PC and forgot how i did it, so i am asking for help here*.

Its not as prevelent in my video example, but you can see the flicker there. Its much more prevelent on my screen.

What i have tried

  • Running Thorium with the --use-gl=swiftshader Flag
  • Force Software Rendering (X11-specific Flag) In chrome//flags:
  • GPU Rasterization → Set to Disabled
  • Zero-copy rasterizer → Set to Disabled
  • Use Skia renderer → Set to Disabled When changing Preferred Ozone platform to Wayland it did end the flickers, but the window UI looks different and weird. and it comes with other problems.
