Thorium can't launch
System Details
- OS: Linux Mint 21.2, Cinnamon version 5.8.4
- Thorium Version: 117.0.5938.157
- CPU: Intel I5-10400F
Thorium crashes immediately after launching it. The SS3 version of the browser works fine. This is the error I got in the terminal:
[63555:63555:1110/205646.908262:ERROR:policy_logger.cc(154)] :components/enterprise/browser/controller/chrome_browser_cloud_management_controller.cc(163) Cloud management controller initialization aborted as CBCM is not enabled. I made another bug report on thorium-win: https://github.com/Alex313031/Thorium-Win/issues/82, but since then I installed Linux Mint and I have the same problem here. Keep in mind that my CPU supports AVX and AVX2, so I should be able to use the other thorium versions. Thanks in advance for your help!
keep using ss3 version
There may be some compilation optimization parameters that are incompatible with your processor. Use the SSE3 version for the time being.
