Additional Notes Thorium has been working fine until today, thank you. I usually launch it from the Gnome Applications menu or menubar icon, but here is the console log from starting it from the command line.

Having the same issue for a few days.

I started having the same issue today. The time to crash/close varies from 5 seconds to 30 seconds.

Thorium Version 128.0.6613.189 (Official Build) (64-bit) Windows 11 Pro Version 24H2 OS build 26100.3775

I'm not sure where to get the crash logs from.

I am also getting this but more related to sync, where it crashes as soon as I turn that on.

Yes, I turned off specifically payment sync and this stopped the crashing.

I'm on windows11. Started meeting similar error starting yesterday. Able to partially address it through the following method: I uninstalled the 130 and restarted (necessary) and installed 128; the browser is able to launch roperly and restore previous tabs. (Note that uninstalling, restart, and reinstalling the same version (130 or 128) doesn't work) However the google account is paused (not synced), and when I finish loggign back in, the same pattern of crashing after staring happen again. So it might be something related to that cuasing the crash.

I looked at previous posts and it seems it might be conflict between extensions that is causing the issue, but even after deleting C:\Users\zhang\AppData\Local\Thorium\User Data\extensions_crx_cache\ and C:\Users\zhang\AppData\Local\Thorium\User Data\Default\Extensions\ the crash still happens.
