Auto update for thorium builds
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I frequently need to manually download and update Throium to the latest build.
Describe the solution you'd like, including relevant patches or source It would be great if there were an automated way to download and update Throium to the latest version.
@thapabishwa Unfortunately, the code for auto-update is closed source and google-only. There is Thorium-Updater, which you can find in my repos, which is a stopgap solution.
Hey @Alex313031, have you thought about looking into omaha-server? From what I understand, custom forks(including Brave) use it to handle auto-updates across various platforms. This could be a good way to manage updates without depending on an external updater.
