reverting versions

I want to go back to M124.0.6367.218 for the time being but simply running the avx2 mini installer doesnt seem to revert anything. I was wondering if there is an easy method to migrate back to the old version from M126.0.6478.231 without having to deal with configuring anything again. thanks

Just export your passwords and browser data then uninstall version M126 and install m124 again

@MathiasT22a Chromium has a "guaranteed 2 version downgrade" in their user profile code. You should be able to uninstall, and then re-install the old version. (Don't just try to install the old version on top of the new one).
