No audio

Open Yingus121 opened this issue 1 year ago • 5 comments

I have been using Thorium for a while and 2 days ago the audio stopped working in the browser. I have done a clean uninstall & reinstall, double checked any settings and nothing fixes the problem. Other browsers work fine, any knowledge of this bug ?

Please double-check that your device can play sound normally and make sure your browser is not in muted mode.

Hi, Yes I checked all settings in the browser, my audio plays fine in other browsers and in games or apps. It is only Thorium I am having problems with. It was fine and working well until one day there was no sound, I change nothing so it's not a mistake I made.

I have never had a problem with no sound in Thorium Browser, have you enabled the mute feature in Thorium Browser or enabled the experimental flags?

Also, are the volume synthesizer settings in your system normal?

By the way, are all web pages without sound?

I never changed a thing and checked the settings, they all seem fine. I checked Twitter(X), YouTube, Instagram and Facebook and there's no sound in any of them. System sounds are all fine with no issues, I also double checked those.

Are the tabs muted? Right click and press on the tab. If it's muted, there should be an unmuted option.
