bluetooth headset only as audio out, mic not detected in teams

Problem Bluetooth headphone works as audio out, but microphone doesn't get detected by ms-teams for example. I know, that bluetooth and linux is a long story - and the whole ad2p and HFP makes things complicated. But I just realized, that the raspbian build of firefox detects my bt-headset and hoped that thorium would do the same ... unfortunately it doesn't.

Additional Notes I tried to grant the access permission for the teams site manually via settings - but it didn't help to detect it.

not sure if this can be addressed -- but my hopes rocketed when i realized that firefox does it
