Some updates from mmajewsk

1. Added info about building protobuf from source in readme
2. Changed system to be shared_ptr (there is no chance of system object being repeated and messing up the threads)
3. Fixed #12

P.S. Since there are no tests here, you might want to test this manually before merging, but it works for me !
