Stuck in cardIO on iOS when user click on cancel while a scan is running

Hi @AlejandroRuiz ,

I'm not sure what cause this issue, and it's quite hard to reproduce, but sometimes (on iOS), when the user is in the standalone card scanner and click on cancel while scanning his card, he goes to this screen : image1

And at this point, the only thing we can do is to kill the app. (the button to manually insert a credit card works, but the OK button doesn't work neither)

Do you have an idea of a workaround or something ?

Thx you in advance.

Jérémy

Did you have any relevant info like device, os version, console output, etc?

This seems to appear on all iOS 10.3 devices.

The steps to reproduce the issues :

_Take a card hard to read (erased numbers or something) or simply hide some numbers with your finger _Try to scan the credit card (the all square must be green) _While the component try to scan, click on the cancel button

You should now be stuck in the card scanner.

Which devices are you testing on?

Same issue for me. I'm searching to reproduce the issue but is not easy. I noted this happen after more than 1 min of inactivity and keeping the camera scanner active. One time I watched this message from debug window: Can't end BackgroundTask: no background task exists with identifier 3 (0x3), or it may have already been ended. Break in UIApplicationEndBackgroundTaskError() to debug.

Hello guys

I have same issue as well. It looks like a random (I know, we are talking about IT) situation and I'm trying to isolate but the only symptom I identified it was that happen only in iOS and in the first use - not all case, but majority. There is no exception threw... It just "freeze".
