Customize PWA-related prompts

Because our app is a PWA, there are some prompts (like the installation one) that appear to the user. These prompts are managed automatically and have their custom design, but can also be managed by us.
Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like that we customize when and how these prompts appear to try and maximize their effectivity. For instance, we could prevent the installation prompt to appear automatically and instead display it as a call to action button on the welcome page and a highlighted entry on the navigation drawer. The same thing could be done with the other prompts, like the push notifications' one that will appear after #51 is taken care of.
Describe alternatives you've considered
The alternative is to keep the automatic behaviour of such prompts.

EDIT: adding a quick note here to not forget about adding a button or something to download the latest changes. There's many stuff that can be done with service workers, we should investigate all of this properly!
