Battle softlocked between turns

I was just playing normally in the grotto area, encountered a singular skeleton enemy, made Freya jump, and then all battle controls locked out? No menus came up after this, and the skeleton didn't act, but Zidane's and Vivi's ATBs were full and Vivi's turn was "next" so I could make Vivi start running but it didn't do anything. Main pause button still functions/Function keys still react with their "not allowed" noises but it was completely softlocked.

My battle settings are as follows:

Wait Turn-Based ATB Mid-Speed (In-Game)

Assume this has something to do with Memoria, as there's no mention of this anywhere besides a similar glitch for FF X-2.

Could still Load my save via Alt+F9 menu at least.
