Code should be simplified to ease future development

A PHPMD report for the current code as of 806935b5aa0f7ed026d5ac64c4804e0d653b44bd is available on meta.phproject.org. We don't need to fix every problem reported, but there are enough complexity and unused code issues that some of it needs to be cleaned up.

Things I've noticed are hard to work with lately and should be refactored:

  • Taskboard
  • Burndown (also buggy, should be rebuilt completely)
  • Issue Saving
