I synchronize my phone scans with my computer. I use SyncThing for that. Right now I have to delete scans in two places: Within the app and the file.

Describe the solution you'd like

Would be fun if the app could recognize deleted files. And delete those scans in the app, too.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Only delete scans in the app. Create a script that deletes all files in the folder regularly. Those files are all recreated as long as they exist in the app.

An improvement for now could be to add a setting in the sync job that cleans up all files that do not exist in the app. Or delete all files in the chosen folder, as the app will recreate them.

I am also looking for 2 way sync. I sync the pdfs to a local folder. Use syncthing to get the pdfs to my server and then reorganize them there.

Problem I was expecting the files that got removed from the local sync folder to be removed from the app. But they reapear in the sync folder and get synced to my server again.

Solution Add a option for 2 way sync in the pdf sync settings That setting makes it so that when a pdf gets removed from the sync folder it also gets deleted in the app

Sorry for not replying more early - I only noticed your question because of the newest comment.

Syncthing is for general data / any filetype. It just syncs any folder you choose across multiple devices.
