[FEATURE REQUEST] Algorithm: White Background & enhanced text
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The main reason to use a document scanner app for me are 2 things:
- dewarp the picture to get the document straight on the image
- edit the picture so it looks like a scan and not a picture
OSS document scanner does the 1) but not the 2) There are some default filters to choose from, but they do not automatically detect white and do the whitebalance while keeping the text black and enhanced for readability. This currently is the main reason people stay on notebloc.
Describe the solution you'd like I suggest either an advanced option for custom controls that i can save or an automated solution, that takes the white of my image and shifts the colors until it is true white, then does the same with my black font. Describe alternatives you've considered The current alternative is using proprietary apps like notebloc or taking the images to the gallery and do the color correction there and then import them into The ODS
Additional context An upgrade to the algorithm would make the ODS perfect and much more downloaded
