@ct2034 sorry to hear about this one. Where did you install the app from? I am asking cause if it is the play store i should get a crash report
No, from github.
@ct2034 that s tricker. Did you have any document or was it the first launch? If first launch does it still happen on uninstall/install ? If so can you try to install from play store so that I can get a bug report (restart the app after the error to ensure the report is sent)
@ct2034 sorry to come back late to this. Is this still an issue for you?
Yes, definitely
@ct2034 ok sorry to hear that. I am starting to think i know what might happen. Can you share a screenshot like you did in the issue but with latest version? The message should be different
@ct2034 i created a very simple test app which shows the available paths on your device. Could you test it and share a screenshot with me? app-release.zip
That seems to work fine ...
But I will try to reproduce the original error. I am not sure when it happened really
@ct2034 thanks. You are the second user to report this. Sadly right now i cant reproduce nor do i understand why we wouldnt be allowed to create a file in our own app file space :s
@ct2034 just to make sure you do have an sdcard and other apps are allowed to write on it? is the sdcard used as external storage or is it setup to be an "extension" of the main storage?
I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. So unfortunately my old data that caused the crash is gone. But I definitely remember that I turned the feature of syncing to sdcard on. And yes, all other apps work fine with it. But so far it has not happened again. Do you think this could be related to the 'sync on startup' setting? Last time I created big scans with many pages scanned by camera. Do you think that some corruption in the scanning process caused the sync issues down the line?
@ct2034 oh so it does not happen on a fresh app! I think it means something got wrong with the database. Somewhere the app code did mess up your database, but not sure if it related to sync on startup (would say no). I am really sorry about! If it happens please let me know. I ll send you then a special version with a lot more logs. BTW where did you install from?
When I made a new scan from camera, this happened after saving the first image
Not sure if it is related. Could not reproduce it since then.
@ct2034 another issue nice! where did you install from? playstore/izzyondroid/github?
Github
@ct2034 ok then if you have an issue again you will need a special build so that i can get logs/bug report
How can I make that special build?
@ct2034 i ll provide it if the issue appears again
