trims github pkg names

Describe the bug If the package name in the github has a dot, the value after the dot and the dot is truncated

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to https://awesomejs.dev/
2. Click on '+ Package'
3. Enter a package name, for example dropper.mood
4. See error

Expected behavior The correct package name in the box GitHub DataSource: and lack of error
