[BUG] Playback stop when attempting to seek while playing 24/96, 5.1 channels FLAC

Describe the bug Music playback stop when attempting to seek while playing 24/96, 5.1 channels FLAC

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Get the sample file here
  2. Play the file via Gramophone
  3. Skip to any part of the song

Expected behavior Music playback shouldn't stop when seeking.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Google Pixel 7 Pro
  • OS: Android 16 Beta 3.2 (BP22.250221.015)
  • App Version: 1.0.16.1.8ef3040

Additional context Something happened with the Audio buffer that cause the music playback to fail while seeking. Here is Gramophone's log while it happened GramophoneLog1744252878829.txt

Thanks for the report, I reported this upstream because it appears to be an ExoPlayer bug. Will let you know when there's a fix.

Just checking in to note I've not recieved an update from Google about this. I'm afraid this will probably take a few more months, based on my experience.

Oh well, I was wrong.

The issue has been fixed in ExoPlayer and the next Gramophone version will contain the fix.
