can you explain this in more detail? are you sure sleep timer is related? what does "song does not follow android volume" mean? too loud? maybe that song file just is too loud and not volume normalized?

I don't know if it is sleep timer related or not but i have experienced it when i had sleep timer turned on. It maxes out the android volume and it doesn't follow android volume steps. But when i replay the song after going to the next/previous an coming back, it then follows the android volume.

Do I understand correctly that

  • the volume panel volume does not change, but the song sounds like it was set to maximum
  • changing the volume panel volume does not change audible volume Or did you mean that volume panel volume is stuck at maximum and can't be changed?

somewhat69 avatar Feb 23 '25 04:02 somewhat69

can you try disabling playback speed hardware acceleration and float audio (if enabled) in gramophone settings?

nift4 avatar Feb 23 '25 06:02 nift4

disabled both , will try at today night . it will take some time though because the the this issue is rare .
