Calls: Unfortunately you can't accept this call with this version of Telegram

While trying to initiate a call between a Telegram Web A 10.9.21 (with Chrome/130.0) client and an iPhone Telegram client (latest), the following message appears: "Unfortunately you can't accept this call with this version of Telegram. Please update your Telegram to the latest version: telegram.org/upgrade".

I tried to initiate calls with Telegram Web A 10.9.21 to or from other clients (Desktop, Android) and it works just fine.

Steps to reproduce that bug:

  1. Call an iPhone Telegram client (latest) with Telegram Web A 10.9.21 (or vice versa).
  2. Try to answer the call.

I have the same problem on my Win10 PC (latest for now 5.8.1 x64 version) and MacOS (latest for now 11.4.269400 Stable)

this still seems to be an issue . Anyone has any ideas why it happens ?
