"Message" placeholder triggers spellchecker

The "Message" placeholder text in the text input box frequently has a red line underneath it to indicate that it's being spellchecked and that the spellcheck is failing:

Not only that, but it will also be appended to the last word in the message and treated as one word by the spellchecker, causing spellchecking for that word to fail:

I'm using Firefox 102.5.0esr.
