Including Fields In File Templates

I'm hive partitioning in my GCS bucket with the format {{bucket}}/{{topic}}/v={{one-field}}/dt={{date}}. Is there a plan to implement file name templating from fields in the key/value? I guess this relies on having schema registry access and I've seen in another issue that that is possible but not yet implemented.
