Images fail to load after browsing around for a bit
If you browse around for a bit in a source, it breaks image loading across the app, and the only way to fix it is to close the app and re-open it, which fixes the image loading. From what I could tell, this affects all images throughout the app, covers, chapters, etc.

As you can see, in the beginning images load, both chapters, and covers, but after a bit of browsing covers no longer load, and chapters as well.

After trying the same thing with other sources, I was not able to recreate the issue, it only happens with mangadex (as far as my testing shows), which probably means your first assumption is correct, something about the mangadex extension breaks image loading throughout the app.
