Add ability to add documentation for larger projects

Hey guys! I'm working with aider last couple months and I found it difficult to use on larger projects. So aider is a great option to create MVP and work on a small features, but can't really handle some bigger tasks including some complex SQL queries with custom business logic and so on. And the most frequent error I'm facing is outdated documentation in model which resulting in wrong code/calls of unknown functions, poor code quality and so on. I'm kinda new to AI so I'm wondering what if add some RAG on the side of aider to add all documentation? Is it good idea in general?
