Just wanted to say thanks a million !! I HAD to save a windows install on a failing SSD and after transferring stuff via Linux the permissions looked correct but they did not work AT ALL. I manually started doing "disable inheritance" and "enable inheritance" on every single file by hand and then i found this!! Fixed that POS right up!!!

I'm thinking i need to tackle the entire program files with it next to make sure that is behaving as well.

I wanted to express my gratitude for this script. I've been having issue with some apps since cloning to a new drive and that just finally solved all my issues.

repair my windows uwp apps and START MENU in this way. you're a hero! ps: you can change %LocalAppData% to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\AppRepository in order to repair the permission for another applications which could lead to the crash of the START MENU. this truly worked for me.
