Haven't heard of D-Bus service hand-over mechanism. Let me do some searching on this. If it's good, we can open a feature request to gnome keyring to implement it.

There may be security related risks if gnome keyring allow hand over, i.e. DBUS_NAME_FLAG_ALLOW_REPLACEMENT. So it may not be easy to persuade them implementing this.
