Persistent Tape Measurements

Currently tape measurements work as follows: you can create up a given limit of measurements and whenever you reload the world the tape measurements are cleared. Measurements are only visible to the person who measured it.

It would be possible to make the measurements world based, meaning they would persist through world reloads. I would then also probably make everyone able to see all measurements. However, is this necessary? Would people want to use the tape measure to pre-plan a large build in which case the measurements persisting would help. Or do people only use the tape measure for a quick measurement and clear it not soon after.

So, do you guys use the tape measure that often, or would you use the tape measure more often that it's worth making measurements persist through world reloads?
