Description

When logging into a server that offers or forces a resource pack download, the download progress screen does not appear (EDIT: if the Old Progress Screen option is enabled), resulting in a soft-lock state of being unable to control anything, even after the download finishes in the background and causes a resource pack reload screen to appear. Secondary startups that already have the server's resource pack cached in .minecraft/server-resource-packs do not produce this issue.

This option was to blame, turning it off resolves the issue too.
