Working with Themes

My application has different sub-apps inside of it which have a slightly different color scheme. How can I use XD to export a DSP that handles themes? Seems the VSCode extension can only load one DSP so I guess we have to have all of that data in one dsp file. How can I go about achieving this cleanly?
