file:// scheme

Check if that's possible to support file:// scheme and at least allow rules like this: @@file://$document: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForWindows/issues/2650#issuecomment-720142159

I doubt that would be possible. I am also not sure about file:// as well, we are yet to see whether the file:// source is indicated in the request's Referrer header.

Competitors were able to do this, why are you worse? It's just convenient, you got it? I use it a lot, it's strange that it wasn't suggested earlier

Browser extensions aren't the same as a network-level filtering software.

I got it but it's just not convenient to pause (disable) adguard to make it work. In my opinion, this is a good option that will help you avoid unnecessary gestures, please try to do it, if not, okay, sad

We don't mind having it, I am just not sure if it's technically possible. If it is, we'll do that, sure.
