I checked Instagram again in Safari, and sponsored posts are successfully being blocked. However, when we put the Instagram page on the home screen and open Instagram from there, sponsored posts are not being blocked.

Well, you need to turn on DNS protection to be able to block ads from apps. Since Safari protection and advance protection is only for Safari, ad block in apps will not work!

I mean Safari web apps when we put websites to home screen it is runs like app but it is works in safari. DNS protection and advance protection is open too.
