@Batman2814 We got the logs now, thank you! The issue will be fixed in future updates
The entire iCloud functionality is not just the icloud.exe process, there are many dependent ones for which it does not work when routing through adguard is enabled, e.g....
Hi, @Batman2814! The most likely solution is to disable the “Filter localhost” option in Advanced Settings. If you have AdGuard VPN installed, also enable the Wintun adapter in the VPN’s Advanced Settings. Please let us know if this helps.

This is not a solution to the problem, if we want to keep localhost filtering. PS. but the fact is that then icloud works with redirection like many other applications, I confirm.
In principle, the application traffic in the localhost will not push anything outside in this arrangement, so the question arises why this option is enabled by default for the regular user - since it fixes most of the applications redirected in AG v8?
If we want to keep localhost filtering,
In that case, the solution is to exclude icloud from routing through adguard
Why is this option enabled by default for regular users?
We’ll look into it, thank you
Good catch with filter localhost btw.
so the question arises why this option is enabled by default for the regular user - since it fixes most of the applications redirected in AG v8?
The main reason is handling different cases of connections to a local proxy (Tor browser). It probably can be limited to a limited set of cases, like only filter localhost connections from browsers.
Requires some good analysis though.

That sounds logical and reasonable. It seems like a solution to future problems! I look forward to future news.

My ticket came to same result for another program 🤷♂️ (before the first ticket was fake solved and closed)

@Morku I didn't see that, thanks. However, at this moment and in the future, there is a chance for some solution: "It probably can be limited to a limited set of cases, like only filter localhost connections from browsers."
As for the case with the iCloud Homeapplication please use the workaround described above (disabling the filter localhost option) and for general issue - "changing the setting behavior" I've created a new one issue
