Issue Details
When always I try to access https://help.nextcloud.com I get an endless loading screen. There is a very rare and small chance that the page may load, but the chance is like ~10%.
But as soon I disable this option:
The page loads directly and properly.
The issue looks independend from browser as I have the issue with Firefox and Brave.

@Morku Greetings! Please install the latest nightly version and let us know if the issue is resolved after testing.
@StanleyLynn
Unfortunately the issue is the same with 7.21.0 nightly 6 (4953)
Screenshot-1:
Not so cool, the Update to that version cleared my userfilters :(
EDIT: It also deleted the Extension AdGuard Extra... So strange...
@Morku We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are already working on a fix.
Regarding the issue related to the WFP network driver, we need your application logs to troubleshoot it.
Please follow these steps: 1. Collect the debug log as explained here. 2. Note the exact time when the issue occurred. 3. Send the archive to [email protected] with the following details: • Include [Windows] and "#5332" in the email subject. • Specify the exact time the issue was reproduced.

Interesting. Your Google backend blocks your own Logfiles.

@Morku We are looking into this issue. As a temporary solution, we suggest disabling WFP.
@Morku Have you tried to disable DNS Protection and check?
@northis DNS protection is not active. Only WFP network driver affecting the load of page.
@Morku ok, can you show F12 page (Network tab) on opening https://help.nextcloud.com/ (it is better to do it incognito mode to bypass caches)? Looks like a resource from the page is being blocked somehow, it would be nice to find out which resource is it.
Like this:
I have exactly the same problem. With WFP network driver enabled website doesn't load.
@northis

EDIT: Wait, it showed more now:
Screenshot-2:
I doubt this has anything to do with the WFP driver, looks like it is a random network error on loading JS-scripts like https://help.nextcloud.com/assets/chunk.72e2266427a71d355202.d41d8cd9.js But you can update to 7.21 nigthly 14 - we've updated the drivers in it.
Maybe a coincidence and it's not related to WFP driver, but in my case, as soon as I disable WFP driver (and restart PC to apply changes) then website loads correctly. With WFP driver it doesn't load.
I have checked it out with AdGuard for Windows 7.21.0 nightly 14 (4975) (CL 1.17.94, DL 2.5.63)
@northis
7.21 Nightly 14 don't fix the issue for me and I can also reproduce on a clean guest VM installation. I can only confirm AdamWr observation: As soon I disable WFP driver, the issue is solved and the page never fails to load.
Screenshot-1:
@Morku This problem seems to be specific to Firefox. Have you encountered it using Chrome?
@northis This issue is also with Brave and is not Firefox specific.
Screenshot-1:
@Morku Unfortunately, still cannot repro this issue. My setup - clean win11 using Brave
@northis
And now? I am not alone with that issue.
Have you closed the private window and retried? In some rare cases it works for me, but mostly fails. (but never fails when disable WFP)
@Morku What if you open one of these failed scripts directly in the browser, this one for example https://help.nextcloud.com/assets/chunk.72e2266427a71d355202.d41d8cd9.js ?
@northis
It's loading something, but says ERR_CONNECTION_RESET anyway.
@northis In case you still have trouble to reproduce, I can prepare a remote playground with AnyDesk.
@Morku I think we can try this, but before can you repro this again with trace logs enabled? How to do that https://adguard.com/kb/adguard-for-windows/solving-problems/adguard-logs/#trace-logs Thanks in advance.
@northis
I have sent an email again to [email protected] with [Windows] #5332 again in subject with the new logfile and trace.
I reproduced the issue with Brave and Edge at about 23:27-23:28 / 11:27pm-11:28pm CET.
@Morku We are still investigating the issue. Can you test it with redirect mode enabled (a setting in the Advanced Settings)?
@northis With redirect mode enabled the page always loads fine (WFP network driver is checked).
@northis
What does blocked from outside mean? Will it be fixed in 7.21?
@Morku sorry for the delay, we managed to repro this bug, going to fix this approximately in a couple of months. Yes, it may be fixed in 7.21
Unfortunately, we have to move the issue to the further version due to technical limitations
