Could please download the latest Nightly build and see if the issue persists in this build?

gork7777 avatar Apr 01 '23 00:04 gork7777

I was installed on Nightly a few days ago, but I switched back because the Adgaurd Assistant in my browser of Firefox was not enabling where it was showing disabled so can you let me know if that problem is fixed before I go back to the Nightly.

Batman2814 avatar Apr 01 '23 00:04 Batman2814

I installed Nightly for Adguard for Windows. looks like the Adguard browser assistant is fixed so I'll be staying on Nightly for testing I will let you know if and when that message shows up on the Nighly for Adguard for Windows.

It's also happening in Adguard for Windows stable version

@Batman2814

Have you tried to reset your settings? (export your current settings before resetting)

Aydinv13 avatar Apr 05 '23 14:04 Aydinv13

So, I did try resetting my settings after exporting my current settings, and that didn't help the issue is still there.

Batman2814 avatar Apr 06 '23 11:04 Batman2814

@Batman2814 Looks like your DNS server cannot be resolved after the sleep. Is it ok with default DNS? You can also set a bootstrap address for your DNS in Advanced Settings, for ex. 8.8.8.8 or tls://1.1.1.1

northis avatar Apr 27 '23 11:04 northis

What dns is that 8.8.8.8 & tls: 1.1.1.1?

Batman2814 avatar Apr 27 '23 11:04 Batman2814

So, I set it to Google DNS 8.8.8.8 under advanced settings for bootstrap. I will have to see if I still see the notification, but is there a way to fix this in the next update so I don't have to use Google dns in Bootstrap or other DNS in bootstrap.

@Batman2814 Hi. Sorry for the late response. Could you please tell me if the problem still exists in the latest versions? There have been a lot of changes since then.

vankos avatar Mar 06 '24 12:03 vankos

I wasn't able to reproduce the problem on my end with the latest nightly build, so I will close the issue for now. If the problem persists in the latest version on your side, feel free to reopen the issue.
