Settings window position is resets after the app restart

Environment

- OS: macOS 15.5
- Safari version: 18.5

Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the settings window and make the placement you want
2. Restart your Mac or quit the app
3. Open AdGuard settings and you see the windows reset to the default placement every time

Expected Behavior

The app to keep the placement of the settings windows what’s so ever

Actual Behavior

The settings windows resets to the default placement after restart the Mac or when you quit the app

Could you please record the issue and send the recording to us? Also if possible, please record the application logs for us. We need them in order to diagnose and troubleshoot this issue.

Here's what we need you to do:

1. Click AdGuard icon in the menu bar → Gear → Advanced → Logging → Logging level → Debug.
2. Reproduce the problem, then remember the exact time it happened.
3. Menu → Advanced → Logging → Export Logs and System Info.….
4. Send this file to [email protected]: — include [mac] keyword and ISSUE_NUMBER in the subject of your email — specify the exact time when the issue occurred

We have checked the video you provided and can't see a Settings Reset window. The window that always appears when you close the app is the Quit confirmation window.

Are you sure that the video captures everything that happens?

The issue is when you set the window settings to your placement of choice and you quit AdGuard the window settings placement won't kept the position the video shows the behavior completely

This is currently an expected behaviour. However, we will add this to the backlog as a feature request.

Thank you once again! I sended the log from AdGuard for Safari issue I reported before to ensure the black window can be fixed! Plus this windows placement issue exist in Safari version too please take a look!
