Issue Details

When using an external proxy ( Settings -> Filtering -> Network -> Proxy ), you can select which apps to filter traffic for and which to exclude.

However, if you choose "do not filter" for certain apps, it completely blocks their internet access.

Please review my support request: 1120705

Expected Behavior

I can exclude app from proxy filter and it works as proper.

Actual Behavior

If I exclude apps from proxy - it completely blocks their internet access.

@wellmorq Thank you for reporting! Is the "Fake DNS" option enabled on the proxy configuration screen? This issue could be related to bug https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForAndroid/issues/5355.

@wellmorq Any updates?

Versty avatar Jun 30 '25 13:06 Versty

@Versty, no, fake dns is disabled. And if I'll disable UDP - all would work as proper.

Yeah, looks like the issue maybe related to #5355. But my issue exists regardless of whether "Use FakeDNS " is enabled or disabled.. :(

@wellmorq Unfortunately, we’re unable to reproduce this behavior on our side for applications that are not routed through the proxy, even with the Route UDP through SOCKS5 option enabled.

We're looking into the issue further using the logs you shared.
