Pages opened in the Cromite browser are not displayed in the "Assistant -> Websites" list

Open Havokdan opened this issue 2 years ago • 10 comments

Issue Details

Cromite is currently supported by Adguard, however, when using the Assistant function in the notification area, the 'Sites' tab does not display the addresses that the browser uses.

Proposed solution

I would like it to be like other browsers, where the addresses would appear.

How to reproduce

Prerequisites

  • HTTPS filtering is enabled
  • Notifications are enabled for AdGuard app

Steps

  2. Go to example.org website
  3. Expand the protection notification from AdGuard -> tap the Assistant button
  4. Switch to Websites tab

Expected result

Actual result

The list of websites is empty

Assistant displays visited websites from all browsers. Please, make sure that HTTPS-filtering is enabled for Cromite. If the problem happens again, then:

  1. Enable debug logging: Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Logging level -> Debug
  2. Reproduce the issue, then remember the exact time when it happened
  3. Collect logs: Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Export logs and system info
  4. Send this file to [email protected]:
    • mention the 5149 number in the subject
    • specify the exact time when the issue occurred

Do you see sites visited through Cromite in Recent activity?

Do you see sites visited through Cromite in Recent activity?

Yes(sorry, I use automatic translator sometimes, I ended up interpreting the question wrong), I can see Cromite in the recent activity section, the problem is restricted to not being able to see the sites in the respective tab, as I reported above, the other browsers work as they should, I have Chrome, Firefox, Vivaldi, Edge tested here. I emailed support with everything requested, I hope there is a solution in the future.

Tell me, please, what Content type do the requests from Chromite have in the Recent activity?

I need you to click on any of these requests and tell me what is specified in the content type parameter.

Could you please enable filtering only for Chrome and Cromite, open the same site in them and see the difference in the request details?

I didn't notice any difference, but it's a lot of content in the log, but looking quickly it looks the same.

@Havokdan We have managed to reproduce this behaviour on our test device. Let's see if we can fix this issue.
